Meet Kelly - founder of shopgalactica
I created shopgalactica because I believe something you use every day should feel like it belongs to you.
A keyboard isn’t just a piece of technology. It can completely transform your workspace, reflect the things you love and make gaming, creating or working feel that little bit more enjoyable.
How it started
shopgalactica began as a small online technology store while I was exploring what kind of business I truly wanted to build. But everything changed when I discovered the world of mechanical keyboards.
I became fascinated by how customisable they were - from their appearance and sound to the way every individual key felt. I realised that a keyboard could be both functional and deeply personal.
Around two years ago, I began focusing shopgalactica on bespoke keycaps and mechanical keyboards. What started with experimenting, learning and producing designs myself gradually became the brand you see today.
The Vision
My vision is to make shopgalactica the home of mechanical keyboards in the UK.
I want to make the custom keyboard world feel exciting and accessible, even if you have never built a keyboard before. In the future, I hope to open a dedicated shopgalactica store in London where people can see, hear, try and create their perfect keyboard in person.
Until then, I’ll continue designing, creating and building from our North London studio - one keyboard at a time.

Made personally, with purpose
A lot of what happens at shopgalactica still happens directly through me.
I develop the product ideas, work with customers on their designs and produce our custom keycaps in-house. Every order has helped me improve the process, understand what customers really want and develop new ways for people to express themselves through their setups.
That personal involvement is a huge part of shopgalactica. When you contact the business, there is a real person behind it who genuinely cares about getting your keyboard right.
